I have ADHD, and two chronic autoimmune conditions that often interfer with my daily routine. I started reading early in life (age 4)and from then on I knew I wanted to not only read the books, but one day write them. I've written many short stories and fan fiction that I shared with friends and family, but it wasn't until I met my bestie, and read her blogs, that I realized we could make a compelling story together. So far we have published two books in our Grim Sorcery Series, and are currently working on the third.

But because every page reflects what I believe. That loyalty is chosen. That forgiveness is chosen. That hope is chosen. That love is chosen. If readers close this series remembering the magic, then I will be grateful. If they remember the adventure, I will be honoured. But if they close the final page, look at the person beside them, and quietly choose them once more... Then these books will have fulfilled the purpose for which they were written. Because that has always been my hope. Not simply to tell a story. But to remind people that the greatest love stories are not those where two people find each other. They are the ones where they never stop choosing each other.

I’m Carly, an indie fantasy author from California! Important things to know about me include: I write books, I love cats, and I grow plants! I’m a horticulturist by trade and that’s my excuse for having an absurd number of houseplants. My completed adventure fantasy series, the Sky Queen Trilogy, is (so far) my proudest accomplishment: it is the result of loving fantasy books since I was a tiny little kid, plus 10 years of doing the hard work of writing, editing, and publishing. I also love practicing archery, going on road trips up and down California, and riding horses when I get the chance!

I'm a writer, an editor, and, at the moment, a dish-washer. Perhaps I shouldn't admit to being a professional dish-washer. It's not cool or polished or literary. But I've reached that point in my life when I just do not care about certain kinds of BS anymore. Yes, I wash dishes. I do a lot of my pre-writing while washing dishes. I have a BA in Environmental Leadership and an MS in Conservation Biology. I use both to write lots of things, but mostly fiction. I have a husband who can sail a boat, drive an ambulance, and make a mean white pizza. We have two beagle-mixes and three cats, one of whom has a total of 21 toes. I used to have a cat who would fall asleep beside my keyboard with her nose on the letter, Q. I miss her.

She writes stories with deep emotional connections between characters who help each other heal while overthrowing oppressive systems. Though they tend to focus on heavier topics, you can expect levity at just the right moment. Cherish lives in too hot of a climate, thriving on caffeine, hype (with a side of spite), and lime flavored tortilla chips.

I’m Christoffer Vuolo Junros, a Swedish author and development engineer. My life tends to move between two worlds: engineering things that exist and writing about worlds that don’t. By day, I work on the development of electric trucks and buses, combining engineering, problem-solving, and a fascination with complex systems. Outside of engineering, I write science fiction and speculative stories about people caught inside systems far larger than themselves. I believe deeply in human rights, equality, and the equal value of every human life. Those beliefs inevitably shape my writing. My stories often reflect humanity’s struggles with power, oppression, injustice, prejudice, technology, colonialism, and the structures we create to control one another. Science fiction gives me a way to move those struggles somewhere else—to another city, another planet, another century—and then look back at ourselves from a different angle. Sometimes the technology changes. Humanity rarely does. I’m the author of the Origin Andromeda science-fiction series, the writing guide WRITE: The Essential Mini-Guide to Books and Storytelling, and now The Delay, my stand-alone science-fiction noir. When I’m not writing or engineering, I’m usually travelling, working on some new project, building something unnecessarily complicated, or already thinking about the next story.
