ARC requests
Find ARC readers for your book.
Reviews sell books, and early reviews sell them fastest. Put your book in front of readers who have asked for free review copies, on our ARC page and in our Friday email.
First 2 requests free then $10 USD each
How it works
Four steps, and the first two take a few minutes.
Step 1
Pick your book
Any book you've listed here, whether it's out already or on pre-order.
Step 2
Add your sign-up link
Your Google Form, BookFunnel, StoryOrigin or Prolific Works link, a short note to readers, your formats and where reviews help most.
Step 3
We check it
Every request is approved by hand. Once it's live, it stays up for 30 days.
Step 4
Readers sign up
They find your book, read your note and join through your own form. You send them the copy.
No sign-up form yet? Our guide walks you through building one, in Google Forms, BookFunnel or StoryOrigin, step by step.
Once it's approved
Where readers find your book
For 30 days, your request turns up in four places at once.
The ARC page
Every open request, in one place readers come to for free review copies.
The home page
Open requests get their own shelf on the IndieFiction home page.
Your book's page
An ARC open badge on your book, so anyone who finds it can join too.
The Friday ARC email
A weekly email to readers who joined our ARC list, with the requests that are open.

Before you ask
- Which books can I ask for ARC readers for?
- Any book you've listed on IndieFiction and we've approved, whether it's out already or on pre-order. A book you're still writing can't have a request yet. Each book can have one open request at a time.
- What sign-up link can I use?
- A Google Form (the link you share, not the edit link), BookFunnel, StoryOrigin or Prolific Works. Readers join through it, so you decide what to ask them and how the copy reaches them.
- Who are the readers?
- Readers who joined our ARC reader list, plus anyone who finds your request on the site. They choose your book themselves. Their sign-up details go to you through your form, not to us.
- Do I have to say whether I used AI?
- Yes. Each request says whether AI was used for the cover, the text, both, or neither, and readers see your answer as your own statement.
- What if my request isn't approved?
- It comes back to you to use again, whether it was free or paid, so you can fix it and send it again.
- How long does a request stay up?
- 30 days from approval. You can end it early from your account, but that still uses the request. If you change the sign-up link, we check it again before it goes back on the ARC page, and the 30 days keep running.
- Is a review guaranteed?
- No. An ARC is a free copy shared in the hope of an honest review, and readers aren't obliged to leave one. Your dashboard shows how many readers clicked through to your sign-up link.
