Calan Mercer is a dark MM romance author living in San Diego, California with his husband and four cats. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from San Diego State University and draws inspiration from the world of combat sports, military service, and the psychology of power and surrender. Wonder Boy: Owned is his debut in published dark MM romance — the first book in the Global Combat League trilogy. His work explores themes of identity, emotional conditioning, and the redemptive power of genuine connection within morally complex relationships. When not writing, Calan is usually reading, watching MMA or hockey, and plotting the next installment in the GCL universe.
