Hi, I’m Lawrence Gray, a lifelong reader and creative writer. I grew up in a suburb of Boston, Massachusetts, a shy kid. After college I married, had kids, divorced, had a couple of different professional careers, and remarried. I tried writing poetry for fun back in the day when poetry slams were popular. I wrote a blog about environmental issues. I once wrote an Op-Ed humor piece for a major newspaper. For most of my life writing has been a fun and creative outlet for me. When I was in Pharmacy Tech school I devised a method for memorizing brand and generic drug names. I thought it could help people so I published it as a guide, How to Memorize Brand and Generic Drug Names. I wrote Expiration Day initially as a legacy piece so that my grandsons would have something to remember me by. It came out so well that I thought I should share it with a wider audience.

His work ranges from young-adult environmental adventures and interplanetary dragons to speculative fiction exploring artificial intelligence, posthumanism, privacy, and the systems shaping our lives. His books include the Draconim series, the MacIver Kids Adventures, and the Symbiosis Sequence, along with standalone fiction and nonfiction. Though the stories move from Northern Ontario to distant worlds—and sometimes into futures that feel uncomfortably close—his work is usually concerned with the same question: what happens when ordinary people are forced to confront forces much larger than themselves?

Leia Harrison is a Canadian author who writes contemporary Western romantic suspense/thriller stories that feature cowboys, rodeos, and road trips spanning across North America. She fell in love with books from a young age, always trying to hide behind the pages of incredible stories that got her blood pumping (yes, think Goosebumps, Stephen King and Are You Afraid Of The Dark). As she got older, she started reading romantic suspense thrillers, loving the excitement that kept the pages turning. Leia started writing when she was struggling to find books that really pulled her in, with one of the main characters developing so quickly, she just couldn't help but tell her story. And it’s been never ending since then. Leia was diagnosed with Autism in 2022, and lives with Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser (MRKH) syndrome. And when she's not writing, she's either riding horses, attending rodeos, practicing her roping or working on yet another project car with her husband.
