Katie-Jo Gracie

I’m Katie-jo—though most people call me KJ. I’m an autistic, ADHD Christian, writer, musician, wife and mum, trying to make sense of the beautiful, complicated tangle of faith, family, disability and everyday life. I write about the places where these things meet: in churches, classrooms, homes and communities, and in the quiet moments when we are learning how to love one another better. For many years I worked in schools and alternative provisions, supporting young people with additional needs and helping educators create spaces where nobody has to hide who they are in order to belong. I’ve taught, trained, guest lectured and contributed to NHS materials on making healthcare more accessible for autistic people. I also work alongside families navigating the often bewildering world of disability support, including through my role as a parent representative for the Bedford Borough Parent Carer Forum. Much of my life has been shaped by home education. I’ve educated my own children, helped run large online communities and supported local cooperatives, discovering along the way that learning rarely follows a straight line—and that the best classrooms often begin with curiosity, trust and a willingness to listen. I care deeply about disability inclusion in churches, and about the work of making room at the table not as a gesture of kindness, but because everybody belongs there. Through fiction, music, advocacy and the occasional stubborn conversation, I’m trying to help the Church listen more carefully, love more bravely and become a place where people can arrive exactly as they are.

Kendall Kirkbride

Kendall Kirkbride is an Ohio-based author whose work moves through psychological suspense, crime thriller, gothic mystery, horror, and dark romantasy. Outside of writing, Kendall is a licensed chemical dependency counselor working as a primary therapist in substance-use treatment. She earned her undergraduate degree in criminal justice and is pursuing a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling, with concentrations in addiction counseling and forensic counseling, as she prepares for doctoral study in forensic psychology. Kendall lives on a small Ohio homestead with her wife, Missy, their teenage daughter, a houseful of deeply loved—and thoroughly spoiled—dogs and cats, and an ever-growing collection of books and houseplants.

Kerim Tapkan

Kerim Tapkan is an Istanbul-based naval architect, senior project manager and science-fiction author with more than twenty-five years in custom yacht construction and refit. His engineering background shapes the spacecraft, technologies and civilizations of P.X, while the fiction follows the people and families caught within a much larger universe. P.X: No Man’s Space opens a planned trilogy built around first contact, hidden history and an interstellar conflict approaching Earth. The setting continues through P.X Untold companion stories, including The Abstention, and The Snorvix Codex, an in-universe archive of histories, species, ships and technologies. Developed as essentially a one-person project alongside his professional career, P.X also has an explorable website with character profiles, worldbuilding, artwork, short films and arcade experiences. His article “Engineering the Imagined” appeared in SNAME’s Marine Technology magazine in October 2026.

I've been in love with writing since I was twelve years old, but I never dreamt that one day people from around the world would read my work. I've spent a lifetime watching and listening to people, and it's the damaged individuals who have always fascinated me. What made them this way? What trauma or abuse shaped them?
