The Lily Network

by Andrew D Levine

About the book

In the heart of Delhi, India, investigative journalist Kabir Joshi and former Mumbai police officer Ananya Rao are drawn into a dangerous investigation where money, influence, and political power conceal a much darker truth. The Lily Network is a contemporary Indian crime thriller that takes Kabir and Ananya through the hidden corridors of Delhi's powerful institutions as they uncover connections that were never meant to be exposed. What begins as an investigation becomes a trail of secrets, corruption, and carefully protected relationships—and the closer they get to the truth, the greater the danger becomes. For Kabir, every unanswered question demands another. For Ananya, experience has taught her that institutions protect themselves—and that following Kabir into dangerous territory has consequences. Together, their contrasting instincts make them formidable investigators, while their friendship, humor, disagreements, and growing reliance on one another give the mystery its human center. Set against the streets, neighborhoods, institutions, and political atmosphere of modern Delhi, The Lily Network combines murder mystery, investigative journalism, financial crime, political corruption, and Indian noir in a story about the price of exposing powerful people. For readers who enjoy Indian mysteries, international crime fiction, political thrillers, financial thrillers, and crime novels set in contemporary India, The Lily Network continues Andrew D. Levine's Kabir Joshi & Ananya Rao Mystery Series.
