About the book

"Letters to the Waiting" is a heartfelt collection of letters, reflections, and prayers that I have written for those who are waiting on God concerning marriage and the desire for a kingdom spouse. Through these pages, I speak to both men and women who understand the quiet struggles of waiting, the loneliness, the unanswered questions, the longing for companionship, and the challenge of remaining faithful when the wait seems endless. I write for those who have whispered prayers in private, questioned God's timing, and wondered whether their desire for marriage will ever become a reality. I also address the dangers of impatience and the decisions we can make when the desire to be loved begins to outweigh the need for discernment. Waiting can be difficult, and in our longing for companionship, we may be tempted to settle for relationships that are not right for us. I explore the red flags we must not ignore, the warning signs we sometimes excuse, and the risks of allowing loneliness, desperation, or fear of being left behind to influence our choices. My desire is to encourage you not only to trust God's timing but also to exercise wisdom, recognize unhealthy patterns, and understand that not every person who enters your life is meant to remain in it. The desire for marriage should never cause you to compromise your values, ignore troubling behaviour, or mistake attention for genuine love. I want to remind you that your waiting is not meaningless, your desire for companionship is nothing to be ashamed of, and your life does not have to be put on hold while you wait. There is a difference between waiting in faith and rushing out of fear, and learning that difference is an important part of the journey. Whether you have been waiting for a short time or for many years, I hope these letters give you room to reflect, pray, examine your choices, and renew your trust in God. I wrote this book for the man who is waiting, the woman who is hoping, and every heart learning to trust God with a desire that has yet to be fulfilled. May we never become so impatient to receive what we desire that we overlook what we need to recognize.
