About the author

I write hybrid sci-fi and fantasy for middle-grade readers, ages 10-14, but grown-ups are welcome too! My specialty is science-based worldbuilding, using my degrees in biology and environmental science. My planet, Zada, is home to the animals of Earth, including ones that have gone extinct. I came up with the idea after learning about the passenger pigeon in school. It bothered me that so many species were gone forever. I cannot bring back what was lost, but I can give you a world where they still live free!
