The Burning of the Realm

About the book

Tired of the same boring tropes in fantasy books? Yeah… me too. Meet Page, a burned-out millennial healthcare worker, who stepped into traffic trying to end it all. Too bad he woke up in a fae realm. He was pulled through a portal by Shaylee, an ancient fae living on an isolated island with her giant pet rabbit. Yes, you read that right. But here’s the catch: she doesn’t want to be there any more than Page does. Page and Shaylee must learn to work together (or at least tolerate each other) to open another portal to send Page back to the mortal world and Shaylee back to her own realm. What’s worse? They need to do this while trying to continue living after wanting to just disappear. Grab some tissues and drink some water. You’re probably going to cry. (Sorry, not sorry.)
