About the author
Michael M. Brownstein writes about the small moments between people—the things left unsaid, the connections that form quietly, and the things that stay with us. He spent several years managing a bookstore café, where he watched strangers become regulars and regulars become part of a community. That experience inspired Paperbacks & Baguettes: Stories Between Us, his novella-in-flash. Michael has a habit of noticing what happens around him. He lives in Massachusetts.
