About the book

About the author
Sophie’s has been writing for far too many years, and had three of her novels published by indie presses. After taking an MA in illustration, she returned to writing alongside her work as an illustrator and educator. She is a an old school pen and ink illustrator, who works on paper and is inspired by folklore, fantasy, myth and legend. Her world of The Wild Wide Woods sits in the space between our world and the unseen, both enchanting and unsettling with its watching woods and night-time goings-on. She sells prints and more through her website, creates work for commission, publishing and cover design and is currently developing a board game inspired by her creations. She is also an author and writing coach, and is publishing the first in her UK set Urban Fantasy series at Fantasy con, 2026.
