About the book

WHAT IF YOUR PHONE COULD TELL YOU THE EXACT DATE AND TIME YOU WERE GOING TO DIE? When Michael Wilson downloads Memento, the world's newest AI-powered app, he expects little more than a technological curiosity. Instead, it gives him a prediction that changes everything. THEN SOMETHING IMPOSSIBLE HAPPENS. The date changes. Every decision adds—or subtracts—from his remaining time. As billions reshape their lives around the app's predictions, society begins to transform. But as Michael becomes consumed with extending his life... he begins to wonder whether he's actually forgetting how to live.

About the author

C. E. Bingham spent four decades as a software developer, watching technology evolve from simple tools into something woven into nearly every part of our lives. That experience—and a longtime fascination with human behavior and the unintended consequences of innovation—eventually led him to fiction. His debut novel, Death Date, explores a deceptively simple question: What would happen if technology could tell you the exact date and time you were going to die? He lives in Texas with his wife, Connie, and is currently working on what comes next.
