About the author
Sterling Vance writes fiction where order and collapse share a border. His third novel, A Perfectly Useless War (September 2026), follows a U.S. military operation that keeps running long after its purpose has disappeared — a geopolitical thriller about competence as its own kind of horror. He's also the author of the cyberpunk series Signal & Static (Echoes of Erasure, The Silent Vigil), with a Tartan Noir series set in Glasgow and a YA medical urban fantasy in the works.
