Dead in the Water

About the book

The river always gives them back. But it usually kills them itself. When a young woman is found dead in the icy river outside Oakway, Colorado, the town is ready to call it a tragedy. Another drowning. Another young life taken by the mountains. But private investigator Avery Bishop sees a different story. He suspects murder. As Bishop digs deeper, this case begins to echo two other deaths once dismissed as accidents. The deeper he looks, the clearer it becomes that someone in Oakway is not who they seem. There may just be a serial killer hidden in plain sight.
