Tommy Bayless is an independent author and creator with a passion for building large, interconnected worlds filled with memorable characters, mystery, action, humor, and long-running stories. His work ranges from the gritty streets of Eastmon City in Depth of Justice to the expansive afterlife fantasy world of Efilretfa. Drawing inspiration from comics, crime stories, real-life personalities, and years of developing his own characters and ideas, Tommy focuses on stories where relationships and characters grow alongside the larger plot. Many of his characters are inspired by the personalities, humor, friendships, and experiences of people he has known, giving his fictional worlds their own distinct voice. Depth of Justice: Book One marks the beginning of the Eastmon City novel series, following cops, criminals, families, and hustlers whose lives gradually collide as they fight to survive, rise, and find their place in a city that never truly sleeps.
