About the author
I am the author of The Chronicles of Sileen, a sweeping fantasy series set in a world of ancient magic, forgotten histories, airships, empires and legends that refuse to remain buried. My stories blend epic fantasy with touches of steampunk, following characters caught between enormous events and deeply personal choices. At the heart of my writing are flawed heroes, complicated friendships, unlikely families and ordinary people discovering that history sometimes has very different plans for them. The Dark of the Storm, the first novel in The Chronicles of Sileen, introduces a world beginning to change—and a princess, a wandering swordsman and a small airship crew who are about to find themselves at the centre of it. I live in the United Kingdom and continues to develop the history, characters and mythology of Sileen.
