OH, GOD!

About the book

During six seconds over Adelaide, tens of thousands of cameras capture something impossible. A four-hundred-metre living organism appears above the city. It has structures that look enough like wings and a halo for humanity to supply the rest. Scientists can measure it. They can identify tissue, blood vessels and biological responses. What they cannot answer is the question everyone actually cares about: What if it is an angel? As the organism walks through the city without acknowledging the people beneath it, religion, science, politics and media compete to decide what it means. Some people run. Some kneel. Some demand that it be destroyed. The organism never attacks. It may never even notice us. OH, GOD! is an existential horror novel about faith, projection and humanity's inability to encounter the unknown without giving it a face.
