Hot n Bothered

About the book

It’s one thing to get your brother’s best friend to pretend to be your boyfriend to survive a holiday with your toxic family. But what do you do when the man you’ve been secretly in love with for years starts taking his role VERY seriously? Isobelle is a mess, she battles with depression and anxiety, gets antsy if she not scribbling stories in hundreds of notebooks, and recently her job told her it would be better for her if she found employment elsewhere because she had one too many panic attacks. Not the best time to be going on holiday with her toxic family, who just love to pick apart every fault she has. Normally it is her older brother who acts as a buffer between them. Except with less than a week to go, unforeseeable circumstances at work force him to stay behind. But never fear... he has a plan that stops their dad demanding they pay for their share. Enter her ‘hot new boyfriend’: Ben Wallace, the epitome of not a mess. Tall, muscular, tattooed, Disney-loving gorgeousness. He has a hit internet cooking show called Hot n Bothered. In which he cooks amazing food, wearing an apron – only an apron. He’s also her brother’s best friend and the man Isobelle has been in love with for the past six years. So now he’s sharing a bed with her and pretending to be her boyfriend, a job he is taking seriously. Very seriously indeed, to the point where Isobelle is struggling to distinguish what is real and what is a very delicious fantasy
