About the book

In a world obsessed with external fixes and social justice, Beautiful Pieces of One written by Damiam V. Henry and his beautiful wife Chesley Henry invites readers on a profound journey inward—to rediscover the timeless truth that Christ is not merely a historical figure or distant savior, but the very life and essence dwelling within every soul. Drawing from the wisdom of Scripture and the contemplative heart of the Christian faith, this book gently challenges the performance-driven, outward-focused Christianity that many have known. Instead, it returns to Jesus’ core message: the Kingdom of God is within you. Through poetic reflections and Spirit-led insights, the authors explore themes of inner justice, radical oneness with the Father, freedom from ego and self-imposed identities, and the liberating reality that “it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.” Readers are lovingly guided to: Release the burdens of striving, worry, judgment, and self-condemnation Embrace their identity as beloved New Creations, already complete in Christ Live from rest, presence, and the indwelling Divine love rather than human effort See every person as a beautiful piece of the One — reflecting God’s image and glory Experience deep inner peace, joy, and maturity through simple abiding and “looking within” Written in a warm, meditative style reminiscent of the mystics and early Church fathers, Beautiful Pieces of One serves as both a comforting companion and a powerful reminder: true transformation doesn’t come from trying harder or fixing the world first — it flows naturally when we rest in the finished work of Christ and allow His life to be revealed through us. Perfect for Christians seeking deeper intimacy with God, spiritual renewal, or a return to the simplicity of the Gospel, this book is an invitation to come home to your true self — Love incarnate. Discover the peace that surpasses understanding. Remember who you are. You are a beautiful piece of One.
