E.M.M. Joy writes character-driven fantasy filled with ancient dragons, forgotten histories, found family, slow-burning mysteries, and worlds where the smallest things can matter most. When she isn't writing, she can usually be found reading, gaming, attempting another craft project, or being thoroughly outnumbered by family life. Ashes of the Ninth Flame is her debut novel and the first book in The Ninth Flame series.
