J.S. Morgan grew up immersed in the fantasy and science fiction adventures of the 1980s and 1990s, when authors like Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman, Terry Brooks, and R.A. Salvatore filled bookshelves with unforgettable characters, sprawling worlds, and adventures that kept readers turning pages long past bedtime. Those stories helped shape his approach to writing: memorable characters first, rich worlds with histories of their own, and a healthy appreciation for humor amid danger. His debut fantasy novel, *Blade & Bloom*, launches The Kaelthorne Saga, an old-school fantasy adventure built around an unlikely partnership between a thief and a lawman who have very different ideas about how the world ought to work. Published through his independent imprint, aMusing Creations, Morgan is currently working on the next installment of the saga. He believes the best fantasy adventures aren't just about saving the world. They're about the people you meet, the friendships you forge, and the trouble you get into along the way.
