Anne Vellen writes darkly witty urban fantasy about demons, difficult choices, and the complicated business of being human. With a background in comparative literature and a fondness for folklore, morally ambiguous characters, and sharp dialogue, she writes stories about freedom, loyalty, and the people we choose to stand beside. She lives in Switzerland, where she divides her time between writing and negotiating with a particularly opinionated horse.
