Spring is here
Three more months have passed since Jessica had her baby Jody, she is also now a retired ballet dancer, she no longer has to go to the studio every day just to practice for the next show, or even travel a long distance to work using either her car or other transportation. Jessica also been reconnecting with her high school friend Sophia, even reintroducing her to Lakisha and Asandrea who also knew her in high school, and also introduced her to her coworker(still friends) at the time Marshae and Rona before they all retired from ballet dancing, so with Sophia now back in her life, Jessica now has five friends who she still connects with on a weekly to monthly basis. They might not always have time for each other, but they make ways to find time to hang out with each other. Winter has been over for about two months now, so the weather is a spring air the trees and flowers have already bloomed to its full potential, even though Jessica is no longer a ballet dancer, she still find a way to keep herself in shape, walking, going to the gym, and using home exercise equipment at home keep her moving, Jessica also goes to the library when she can find a sitter for Jody who is just beginning to crawl, Sasha had her puppies five of them, after watching Sasha give birth to her puppies Jessica was ready to give Jody a sibling, but Jenson wanted to give Jody some time to grow a little before they started to make another sibling for her. Jody was no longer a newborn, or an infant she was going into toddlerhood, so Jessica and Jenson started talking again about having another baby, this time Jenson is ready to start trying for another baby with Jessica, Jessica and her friends still meet up every once in a while to update each other on life things, Jessica first book has been out for two months now, and her second book is almost ready to be released. Jessica is working on becoming a best time seller author, so far she has sold over twenty copies of her books, she hope to sell more before her second book is ready to come out, when Jessica isn’t writing, she finds other things to keep her busy, she keep her house fully clean, and make sure that the dogs needs are taken care of, walking them outside is her main exercise, Jessica is mostly self publish so she doesn’t have an agent, or a publisher to push her to complete a deadline for her books, being a writer is fun but the hard work is rewriting, and then self editing to make sure every words are correctly grammared and each sentences make sense to her. Jessica went from being a Ballet Dancer to being a Publish Author all within a span of two years, and now Jessica feel that she has enough income to maybe open her own online bookstore, where she can sell her books as well as some merch to go with those books, so that when people see her book along with some great design merch, people will want to go to her website to buy books, and merch to wear or to slap on their refrigerator. But first she has to find a way to design a merch to match her author business, one of her friend is an art designer that friend is Rona, ever since Rona retired from ballet dancing she had turned to art to keep her hand moving as she had done sure ballet dancing, so when she is ready Jessica will reach out to Rona to get a logo designer from her, an original art. Her other friend Marshae has started her agency business since retiring from ballet dancing, her agency is mostly in marketing, not just books but other areas of marketing, she has even met celebrities since starting her agency business. Jessica isn’t the only one of her former ballet coworkers keeping busy, Rona and Marshae already have their own family, Jessica started hers just two years ago. Marshae has six kids with her husband Reggie, and Rona has three kids and two three dogs with her husband Keith, both Marshae and Rona were there for Jessica when she first became a mom and helped her through her first five months of being a new momma to Jody. Asandrea has been a bookkeeper for years now since graduating college, so she will display Jessica books each time they come out at her bookstore. Lakisha and Rona have been working on a little project together for a while since Rona retired from ballet dancing, so they all have a valid reason to meet up more than once when it come to needing help from the other friends, Jessica other friend Ladisa who have been an author for much longer than she have been has been giving Jessica all of the advice she could give her on becoming a self-published author, and how hard it is to become one, because she will have to do everything that a traditional publisher would have done for her. This gives Jessica plenty of time to be near her daughter, even when her husband Jenson has to work, spring break also almost here so he will be home for about two weeks, even then they are both still busy, they still make time to go out on a date, different people they know babysit for Jody, they also have friends who has a young teen, who can sit for their daughter for however they need the teen to sit for. Jessica know what it like to sit for her little siblings with her twin brother Jeromy when they were young teens, so she make sure to pay the sitters well, when Jenson is not teaching science, he is substituting for math teachers who are absent for whatever reason that they could not be in class for the day, Jenson student calls him Mr. Jenson Kelum or Mr K which is simple for them. His coworkers, if being professional they will call him Mr Kelum, but if they are just talking and are friends, they just call him Jenson or Jens. Tonight is the night for their date, so Jessica called for one of her nieces in her husband side of the family to come over and babysit for Jody, Jessica was in her closet getting ready, she already had her dress on, all she had to do was put on makeup and some jewelry, Jenson know not to make a reservation early, because he know his wife, and that I’m ready doesn’t really mean she fully ready, he told his wife the time to get ready, but didn’t tell her the actual time that they had to be there, this way they have plenty of time to drive to the restaurant, Jessica had finished putting her make up, as she was putting her jewelry on she heard the doorbell ring, Jenson who was already downstairs opened the door, and let in his niece Massie and told her that aunt Jess would be down soon. A half hour later Jessica was making her way downstairs fully dressed and ready to go out, Jessica reached into her purse and gave Massie her number on a card, “If you need anything you can reach out to me here with this number.” Massie took the paper and asked “Where’s Jody?” Jenson answered, “She’s in her room playing in her playpen, she's awake now, but it's almost time for her to go to sleep soon.” Massie responded “Don’t worry, I got it, you two go out and have a night to yourself.” Jessica laughed “We won’t be gone for too long,”. And with that Jessica and Jenson was out the door and on their way to the restaurant for their usual date spot, Jenson and Jessica were seated and ready to order their meal, while waiting for their meals to come Jenson and Jessica stared at each other for a few minutes and then Jenson spoke “Have I told you how beautiful you look, and that I am glad that we had a baby together, along with two dogs and five puppies now?” Jessica waved him off “Oh stop, Jenson, I look how I always look when I go out.” Jenson reached for Jessica's hand and said “Not like this, you look even more beautiful than usual, I can’t take my eyes off of you.” Jessica chuckled, “You’re making me blush Jens, I can’t retouch my makeup if I have to cool my cheeks with a damp napkins.” Jessica fanned herself a little, Jenson grabbed Jessica other hand gently, while he was still holding her other hand, “Jess, I think we should try for baby number two, you asked before and I wasn’t ready, because I wanted Jody to grow a little older some, but I think we can handle a newborn and a toddler.” Jessica while her hands are still being held leaned closer “I agreed, I think now is the time to expand our family, to give Jody a little sister or brother.” Just then a waitress came back with their food, both Jessica and Jenson released their hands and leaned back to their chair, once the plates and the drink were placed on the table, the waitress left them alone, Jessica and Jenson continued to swoon at each other, and talk about their family expanding. Meanwhile back at the house, Massie made sure to feed Jody her dinner in a high chair, and cleaned up any toys that were laying around, once Jody was done eating, Massie cleaned up the mess Jody made, and then cleaned up Jody herself before putting her back in her playpen to play for a little bit longer, Massie kept an eye on Jody as she played herself to sleep, then she put Jody in her crib. Once Jody was fast asleep in her crib Massie went downstairs to relax until her aunt and uncle came home, she watched tv in a low volume to not wake up Jody. Two hours later Massie heard the key turning, so she got her stuff ready, Jenson walked in after Jessica walked in, Jessica sat down with Massie and Jenson to ask her how was it babysitting Jody, Massie answered “It was messy, but calm Jody didn’t make a fess when I put her to bed, I let her play in the playpen until she started dozing off.” Jessica paid Massie and Jenson let her out while Jessica went upstairs to check on Jody. A week later Spring break had arrived, which meant Jenson was home for two weeks, and could help out much more which he didn’t mind, because he loved spending time with his daughter Jody, Spring break also mean that Jessica nieces can travel to sit for Jody more, Jessica even though she is not a ballet dancer anymore she still has to go out for other things, meetup with friends, errands, to get away from mommy duty for at least an hour, and so much more. Spring is mostly Jessica favorite season, because she gets to go out more often than if it was winter, which tend to have more snow during the cold weather, she love not having to layer up so much during the cold weather, while in the spring she get to be more loose and can wear less layer but still cover up some. Also Jessica and her friends can hang out more often, Jessica still stays in touch with her former instructor Mrs. Kiandrea just to talk and catch up, she is still teaching ballet dancing, but she is getting ready to let someone else take her job to move on to other adventurous opportunities. The more people Jessica knew from her past Ballet dancer career leave the ballet industry, the more she is leaving behind the life of a ballet dancer, and move forward to her writers career as a self-published author, as well as working on expanding her family, Jenson is also up for a promotion from being a math substitute to taking on the math classes, so not only will he still be teaching science, but he will also be teaching math as well throughout the school year.
The end.
