About the author
S.R. Cooper is a Black Queer Author and Visionary Creator whose work centers healing, transformation, and cultural authenticity. Her storytelling bridges literature and visual media, with rich character development and retro cinematic energy that speaks to streaming audiences and industry tastemakers. S. R. Cooper first embarked on her journey as a writer in October of 2020. She was co-author of the e-book I Survived, an anthology about domestic violence and how it encroaches on the different stages of one’s life. After months of struggling to find realistic romantic stories geared towards lesbians of color, she decided to become an author in her own right. A daydreamer by nature, hopeless romantic, and charismatic storyteller, S. R. Cooper invites the reader to visualize the scene and experience their emotions. Not only does she keep the reader engaged and breathless page after page along to the end, but she also changes the narrative on lesbian relationships. She enjoys writing a variety of captivating LGBTQ+ romance stories that uplift and entertain the reader. To S. R. Cooper, the craft of writing is the ultimate act of creation-an opportunity to elevate an ordinary story to greatness.
