Zander, a remarkably powerful six-year-old boy, is discovered to be the last elemental vampire and the first child vampire sighted in centuries. The Blood Council located him unconscious in the woods, surrounded by complete fiery destruction and covered in ashes. He was swiftly taken to the Academy of Vampires to receive necessary medical attention for his condition. Once Zander awakened, he was understandably confused and frightened by his circumstances. He was then cleaned and presented before the Blood Council for intense questioning. The council sought answers regarding both the mysterious events in the woods and the precise nature of Zander's elemental existence.
