The Archivist: Shadows in the Museum: Issue One

About the book

Every museum has blind spots. By day, Clara Voss is a quiet museum librarian, devoted to preserving history. By night, she becomes The Archivist — a masked vigilante navigating shadowed galleries, sealed archives, and secrets meant to stay buried. When a string of mysterious thefts points to something far older — and far more dangerous — than simple crime, Clara is drawn into a conspiracy hidden in plain sight. Ancient artifacts vanish without a trace. Security systems fail too perfectly. And one name keeps resurfacing: Halloway. Set within the echoing halls of a modern museum after dark, The Archivist: Shadows in the Museum blends noir atmosphere, investigative suspense, and grounded superhero storytelling. As Clara descends into forgotten corridors and concealed stairwells, she must confront not only the mystery before her — but the cost of becoming someone who lives between preservation and defiance. This is Issue One of The Archivist, an original graphic novel series. This opening chapter leads directly into The Cost of Knowledge (Issue Two). Perfect for readers who enjoy: • Noir-inspired graphic novels • Dark, atmospheric mystery thrillers • Female vigilante / superhero stories • Psychological suspense and slow-burn conspiracies
