About the author

I am a passionate follower of Christ, a storyteller, and a first-time author. In his debut memoir, Testify, he opens his heart about his life journey, struggles, and experiences to remind readers that no one is beyond redemption and grace. Bruce resides in Midland, North Carolina, with his wife of 36 years, Shelley, where they can usually be found relaxing with their cat “Twink”, watching favorite shows and movies, or working in the yard. They have two grown children, Lynsey and Alex. Bruce served as a youth counselor for fifteen years, a Methodist Stephens Minister for four years, on mission teams, community outreach, and disaster recovery teams after hurricanes Hugo and Katrina.
