Swinging for Power
About the book
A small-time PI suspects the governor of murder. Parker Hanson isn’t your typical detective. He doesn’t own a gun. He’s a former journalist, not an ex-cop. And he recently had triple bypass surgery. So why is he taking on New Hampshire’s most powerful political figure in a fight he’s not likely to win? Because that’s how he’s wired. When Parker suspects the death of his client’s husband is linked to a state government conspiracy, it’s not in his nature to walk away. And when his intuition points directly to the governor himself, Parker—whose biggest cases to date have involved finding lost relatives or proving infidelity—suddenly finds himself in the big leagues. The danger is huge. And the stakes couldn’t be higher. Because when you’re swinging for the governor, you’d better not miss.
