Susan Nefzger

Susan Nefzger's self-awareness journey began in the 1980s — sparked by Dr. Brian Weiss's Many Lives, Many Masters and deepened through years of studying spiritual traditions, including the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda. Decades of inner work, professional achievement, and worldwide searching led her to a single transformative moment: a writing retreat at Glastonbury Abbey in May 2015, where the words of her first book arrived in a torrent of inspiration. What followed was a complete life transformation and a four-book series that has helped readers examine the patterns, fears, and inherited beliefs quietly running their lives. Her books — A Practical Guide to Awareness, Putting Awareness Into Practice, A Practical Guide to Living Fearlessly, and the forthcoming A Practical Guide to Love & Relationships (Summer 2025) — form a practical, deeply human roadmap for anyone ready to do the inner work. A former public relations professional with 30 years of experience, Susan now works as a Focus & Self-Awareness Coach for executives and writers, offering 1:1 coaching, workshops, and retreats. She is based in Atlanta and Charleston, S.C., where the magic of the low country fuels her writing, photography, and her work with others.
