Maha Arshad writes YA romance, fantasy romance, and character-driven stories filled with banter, complicated relationships, friendship, family, and hopeful endings. Her published YA romance, Dear Diary, I Hate Him, follows a bookish girl, an annoyingly charming Australian transfer student, and a first impression that goes very, very wrong. When she isn’t writing, she’s usually reading, baking, planning another story, or thinking about fictional characters for far longer than necessary. She especially loves romance, fantasy, strong friendships, and characters who have a little growing up to do before they earn their happy ending. She’s currently working on more fiction, including fantasy romance, and sharing the process, bookish content, and occasional writing chaos online.
