The ones that don’t fit neatly into a happy little box. I write the hard stuff. Abuse. Cancer. Grief. Found family. Pain. Survival. The things people sometimes don’t want to talk about. Because I may be sixteen, but I have been through things that taught me far more than a number ever could. I don’t write to make the hard things pretty. I write them because they are real. But I also believe you can’t live in the dark forever. So somewhere between the heartbreak and the healing, there is always love. A romance. A friendship. A family that chooses you.
